Macau CLOSER is a monthly, bi-lingual, living and arts magazine based in Macau, providing in-depth information and solid commentary on all aspects of life and arts, and updated news on trends in a city where lifestyle is quickly developing. Launched by Plural Media Ltd. in February 2007, Macau CLOSER has successfully managed to establish itself as the best living and arts magazine in the territory in the space of five years, appealing to bilingual (English/Chinese) readers in Macau, Hong Kong, and in the mainland. Macau CLOSER has co-organised and been media partners for a number of high profile events and will soon launch a new-look website for 2012 for enhanced online experience and readership.
Distribution
2011 was a great year for our publication as we expanded our distribution network. The feedback we have received from local and Hong Kong residents, visitors and subscribers around the world has encouraged us to go even further. Each month 25,000 copies of Macau CLOSER are distributed to the leading hotels, retail, dining and entertainment venues across Macau, Hong Kong, China & overseas.
Event Marketing and Media Partnerships
Macau CLOSER has successfully organized and co-organized a number of lifestyle and arts events in the city. We are able to arrange all the media and PR promotions, planning and production, and can also help you to select the ideal venue so that your event can be successful and have the widest exposure possible. In the past, we have worked with Wynn Macau, co-producing a photo contest for Macau's youth to celebrate the opening of Wynn Encore. We also co-organised the Douro Boys wine tasting event at Crown Macau, City of Dreams, and the Tejo Wines event at Mandarin Oriental Macau. Both events presented producers of top table wines from Portugal. Macau CLOSER was also proud to be a co-organiser of the inaugural Macau Fashion Link event in November 2011, and official media partner of the Macao China International Digital Cinema Festival. Our events are usually done in cooperation with the top hotels of Macau and we can also provide a multimedia experience during the event.
